British Wedding Planner Rachel Cripps-Gervais started her career in Hotel Management where she worked at the Park Lane Hotel in London's Piccadilly, in Conference and Banqueting. She soon progressed and lead Banqueting functions for hotels in London and South Africa where she gained her extensive Wedding, Event and Conference Planning experience.
Rachel also worked independently planning weddings throughout the UK in addition to building a corporate career in Human Resources where she lead teams of up to100 staff and has extensive vendor management & negotiation expertise.
Rachel is professionally qualified achieving 'highest honours' in gaining her Diploma in Bridal Consulting through the International Career School of Canada and holds the title of 'Professional' level member of the Association of Bridal Consultants. In addition Rachel is certified in Canada with the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada and is a member of the International Wedding & Event Professionals.
Chris Gervais, Artistic Designer & Wedding Planner
A native of Quebec, Chris has had an extensive international career throughout North America, Asia & Europe, where he has lead corproate departments of over 1000 employees on a global remit.
With his time spent living in such countries such as India and Morocco Chris has a keen eye for design, colour & style. Additionally Chris is an accomplished artist and regularly exhibits throughout Hudson and the West Island.
Additionally, Chris is also a 'Certified' Wedding Planner through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada.
Sasha Kelly, Assistant
A student of Dawson College on the Media & Communications program, Sasha has worked with An English Rose since 2006 supporting both office activities and assisting on many weddings.
Sasha has a huge passion for acting which she has been studying since 2005, in addition to giving her time to younger children at Camp Amy Molson for the past 2 years.
