Tina & Arun - A Spicey Affair!

Colour, Sari's, Lanterns, An Indian Drummer, Gold Elephants adorning the wedding cake can only mean one thing.. Tina and Arun had a wedding full of Indian Spice!

What fun it was working with Tina to slowly unfold the design and feel for her wedding day. She wore a dress I can only say I could hardly lift - fully adorned in swarovski crystals and bought directly from her trip to India, she looked stunning! Her girls all wore deep red/burgundy Sari's to keep within the traditional style.

The centrepieces where Lanterns filled with candles and the tables were decorated in burgundy organza overlay's, rose petals and pretty coloured boxes with crystas and glass for the favors!

Tina did a very sexy dance for Arun, which got the crowd going only to continue their surprise when an Indian Drummer in full costume arrived to really get the party going.... the party ended with the traditional throwing of the grooms turban!

Andrea & Jesse - A Country Retreat

Andrea and Jessie did a great job of planning their wedding, and my husband Chris was there on the day to ensure everything ran smoothly, and lucky him, what a fantastic location to work in! Nestled high in the mountains in Owls Head was the stunning home of Jessie's relatives who kindly gave their home for the day for the wedding!

The ceremony took place in front of the grand fireplace, with a cocktail party in the garden nestled amongst the trees and a reception in a marquee (tent) in the garden!

Pink was the colour of the day and this came through in everything from the flowers to the dresses and the decor, they finished off the evening with fresh grilled cheese sandwiches and Pizza as their midnight table - YUM!

Yvonne & Mike - Red and Racey!

When I first met Yvonne I was really excited, she was a bride who wanted to have fun and lots of colour in her wedding - relaxed and focus on the Party!! What I didn't know is that she would also be wearing Red Patent Shoes and arriving in a Vintage Red Corvette! You go Yvonne!!

The flowers were a mix of deep reds & aubergines, the tables clothes black & white, we had the most amazing cup cakes which I still dream of and an incredible 3-tier black & white wedding cake! Not forgetting our famous 'Mashed Potato Martini Bar' served at midnight!

To top the party off in style we had Juno Award Winner 'Jack de Keyzer' Blues Guitarist and Vocalist and a favourite of Mike the Groom playing into the early hours of the morning!

Chantal & Gabriel - True Elegance

So what makes 'True Elegance', a beautiful location, a unique wedding dress and simplicity in decor. Chantal and Gabriels wedding encompassed all of this and more. The venue was The Mount Stephens Club on Drummond Street in Montreal, built in 1880 and home to George Stephen and his wife (President of the Bank of Montreal), the home is filled with oak panels, stainglass windows and grand staircases. But it also includes a beautiful ballroom in natural colours and chandaliers which was the setting for both Chantal & Gabriels Ceremony & Reception.

The bride wore a beautiful 'Gold' coloured wedding dress, we decorated the tables in simple candlelight with single orchids set in a black square vases... chosen especially as Gabriel first floral gift to Chantal was... you guessed it a single orchid in a square black vase!

To pay homage to Gabriels Military background, the sound of bagpipes played as the Bride arrived and guests were seated for dinner - all round a truely elegant wedding!
